About me
Thank you for being here! I had three sets of natural twins. Yes, I'm a mom of six, and it all happened in five years. Along for the ride with me is my wonderful husband, Adam. Together, we've learned a lot but the most important things we've learned are how to laugh at the chaos, keep having fun and always make time for each other. Six kids in five years... learn about our unique family and how we stay calm in this crazy life, we never saw coming! I have a story to tell, I hope you enjoy... and yes, twins run in the family.

half a dozen twins at the beach
Before it gets too late and too cold, we had to squeeze another beach trip in! It's one of the most fun places we take the kids. In the video, watch the babies in action- crawling in the the water and the bigs and mids running around in the surf.

HOW I STAY CALM
One question I get so often is "How do you do it?". I'm always speechless when I hear it because I don't do it alone. It really does take a village, no matter who is in your village. From Making Time for Us to Staying As Organized As Possible, these are some of the ways we have fun and relax in the chaos of three sets of twins!
Twins, They Will Team Up On You
You may think twins are so cute and innocent but the truth is they are a team from day one. Here is one of my biggest mom fails when the bigs who were almost two, teamed up on me.
Sock the Madness
The weather is beginning to get a little cooler and socks are a must every day, now. Going from barefoot, summer, care free days to brisk, cool sunshine can be more stressful with many young children. Not only are there jackets, hats, gloves, boots, scarves and all kinds of warm clothes to put on, now there are the dreaded... the loathed... socks! Creating chaos, with me turning the house upside down trying to find four pairs of matching socks!
We took 4 under 4 on a plane!
Flying with two sets of twins, new three year olds and eleven month olds, on a four hour flight for my sister’s wedding shower, seemed like an eternity! We planned it out for months. We needed a huge rental vehicle at the other end (4 car seats!) It was a like poetry in motion and complete craziness all at once... we did survive. Here's how:
IT Takes A Village
One question I get so often is "How do you do it?". I'm always speechless when I hear it because I don't do it alone. It really does take a village, no matter who is in your village. Our main helpers have been the grandparents, on both sides. They are lifesavers and we will forever be grateful for their help, support and encouragement! Everyone with twins needs a village.
Half A Dozen Twins was started to help parents stay calm in the chaos of raising kids! Our hope is to share real life stories and tips with families, big and small. With a realistic, positive approach, we make the chaos of parenting multiple sets of multiples fun by laughing through it all, staying as organized as we can and not sweating the small stuff.
