July was fun but i’m exhaustedWe have had such an amazing summer so far! From the start we’ve been going full on with more kidventures, outings, projects on our house and taking on some extra hours of work plus I’ve been on a decluttering kick for a few months not to mention… the taking care of 6 littles full time. I think I need a vacation from my summer vacation. Lol, I’m only kidding! I’m so grateful for the time with the kids and all we have been able to do. It’s been almost too much fun! With the littles getting older and more up for outings with us, we have been making up for lost time. We even went to our first restaurant since the babies were born two years ago. (I shouldn’t be calling them that still but I think I may forever… sorry boys!). The restaurant was family friendly and oh so fun so I will post about that soon on Instagram: @halfadozentwins. Leo did his signature pouty shy face and we of course got some comments from strangers. You can read more of those by clicking the button below. Swimming lessonsWe have been lucky enough to take swim lessons this summer and the kids have loved it. Out and aboutThe most memorable part of the summer has definitely been going to the yurt, boat rides, the beach twice, the Tillamook cheese factory, the zoo and the concerts. It’s hard to keep up with the posts with all of the fun but there are only a few more weeks left of this before four of them go to school! We’re soaking in the fun, family time and sunshine that will soon turn back to six months of rain. We love the rainy time too it’s just very different than the free summer that is coming to an end soon. To see more videos and see where we went click on the Kidventure section below. Looking Ahead to fallSome people in the house are already looking forward to their favorite season, Fall. With the crisp cool air, football traditions and back to school around the corner, it’s already time to start planning! My mom always said, “failing to plan is planning to fail!” And that’s especially true when you have a family with three sets of young twins. They’re already picking out their backpacks and I’m still getting used to the idea that the mids are starting Kindergarten! Follow along by joining the email list for free! You will get updates and the site password which gives exclusive access to my FAQ’s and Comments from Strangers. Survival tipsI will be adding more videos with tips for surviving Half A Dozen Twins on my YouTube channel soon so please subscribe to that if you’re interested!
